I love that line and the story itself. I think the final segment messes it up.

That last part was a little weird, but I just started reading some Mark Twain and sometimes you just gotta give it up for the old style.

I'm going for The Mysterious Stranger and assorted shorts right now. The shorts aren't killing me but I loved the The Stranger at one point.
